The SBIC Scholarship Tournament was initially called the Martin & Martin Memorial Tournament, and began in 1981 to pay tribute to long standing Inner Club members Bob (Skinny) Martin from Needham and Bob (Hacker) Martin from Newton. Both men were very active in their communities through coaching, teaching, and/or community service.The Sandy Burr Inner Club embraced these values and used their ideals along with academic performance as the criteria to award scholarships to deserving students.

The 2023 Scholarship Member/Guest Tournament was held on June 24th. We had great participation, 136 players played golf and enjoyed a wonderful banquet to end the day. Thank you to all our sponsors who helped to make this day a success. To view a slideshow of the day click here.
